To help families continue to explore scripture, develop just one or two questions that encourage families to probe more deeply into how the reading connects to their own lives.
For example, for Sunday May 11, you might ask:
Revelation 7: 9-17: What ordeals have you experienced? How has your faith helped you at that time?
John 10: 22-30: Whose voice do you hear? Now does the voice guide your actions?
Psalm 23: How do you feel when you see a full table? Who would you invite to share the meal?
These can be used a variety of ways: on Facebook, in the bulletin, in the church newsletter.
