Pastor Wendy McAlpine created an altar cloth and wrote at the top their theme verse they memorized in Sunday school this year, Psalm 34. They drew names each week for the children to take the altar cloth home, had conversations with their families and then draw something on it that represents what the cross means to us, how we follow Jesus, and how we can walk as disciples of Christ.
